Platform Administrator (M365/Azure)

Location: Houston, United States. The role is generally office-based and may require evening and weekend work for critical project milestones.

What you will do

• Administer and evolve the Microsoft 365 tenant, including SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business, together with Azure identity, networking, and compute.
• Manage identity and access across Active Directory, Entra ID, AWS IAM, enterprise applications, app registrations, and SSO/SAML/SCIM integrations.
• Build and maintain Docker and Kubernetes/AKS platforms, VMware virtualization, device management, and hybrid IT infrastructure.
• Implement monitoring, logging, observability, backup automation, disaster recovery, and business continuity testing.
• Develop Power Automate flows, low-code applications, Power BI dashboards, and CI/CD automation.
• Act as an escalation point for platform architecture and technical issues while communicating project status and risks to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, 7+ years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Deep, hands-on production experience administering Microsoft 365 and/or Azure, including SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Azure governance, compute, networking, and storage.
• Experience with Active Directory, Entra ID, app registrations, enterprise applications, SAML, and SCIM.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, and PowerShell or Python scripting.
• Knowledge of AWS administration, Docker, Kubernetes/AKS, Intune or Jamf, VMware vSphere/ESXi/vCenter, networking, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, security, and backups.
• Eligibility for access to export-controlled technical data under NASA, ITAR, or EAR screening requirements is a condition of employment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power Automate, low-code application development, Power BI, or Ansible Automation.
• Microsoft Azure, Identity and Access, Microsoft 365, Teamwork Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect, or VMware certifications.
