Sr. Microsoft 365 Platform Engineer

Location: New York, New York, USA (Corporate Headquarters)

Base pay range: $130,000–$140,000 per year

What you will do

• Act as the senior technical authority for Microsoft 365 workloads, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Entra ID, Intune, Purview, and Power Platform.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable solutions aligned with security, compliance, and governance standards.
• Lead complex troubleshooting and provide Tier 3/4 escalation support.
• Define governance models covering data lifecycle management, retention, sensitivity labels, and access controls.
• Shape the long-term M365 roadmap, evaluate new Microsoft services, and recommend adoption strategies.
• Improve support processes, documentation, knowledge transfer, training, and platform adoption while mentoring technical staff.

Requirements

• 7+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years of hands-on Microsoft 365 engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID, and Intune.
• Strong understanding of identity, authentication, conditional access, and modern endpoint management.
• Proven experience implementing Microsoft 365 governance, compliance, and security controls.
• Ability to lead complex technical initiatives and influence platform strategy.
• Excellent communication skills for translating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Microsoft 365, Security Administrator, or equivalent certifications.
• PowerShell automation and Power Platform experience, including Power Automate and Power Apps.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale Microsoft 365 environments.
• Experience as a technical lead or senior escalation point.
