Interior Designer

Location: Dallas, TX; hybrid with on-site homeowner and construction team visits

Salary: $80,000–$90,000 estimated base salary annually, plus equity

What you will do

• Develop curated interior design packages and personalization options across infill and suburban communities, particularly for the Dallas–Fort Worth and Houston markets.
• Coordinate with Sales and Procurement to align designs with budgets, market objectives, style standards, and comparable developments.
• Present mood boards, product details, material characteristics, renderings, and physical samples to homeowners virtually and in person.
• Partner with Tech to load products and create design offerings in the software platform and client-facing checkout experience.
• Use Bluebeam to communicate design intent and redline interior and cabinet shop drawings for construction document updates.
• Maintain project files and material catalogs, create sample boards, source materials, and support market research and site walk-throughs.

Requirements

• 4–6+ years of relevant interior design experience and a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field.
• Experience in a homebuilder design studio or design firm, including leading client meetings and providing strong customer service.
• Experience selecting interior specifications and finishes for architectural drawings, with a strong understanding of materials.
• Experience with Bluebeam Revu and graphics tools such as Photoshop or InDesign.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, time management, multitasking, creativity, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement in Dallas and attend required on-site visits.

Nice to have

• Experience with Revit or AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of current residential construction design trends.
