PLM Technical Project Manager (PLM)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States; onsite role with 10% travel. Relocation is not available.

Salary: $163,000–$224,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead complex enterprise technology, software development, engineering application, and digital transformation programs.
• Develop project and program plans covering scope, milestones, dependencies, resources, financials, risks, governance, and stakeholder engagement.
• Coordinate multifunctional design, architecture, development, integration, testing, deployment, and change management teams.
• Drive delivery within scope, schedule, budget, quality, security, and compliance requirements.
• Manage budgets, capital allocation requests, procurement, vendor spend, forecasts, and financial escalations.
• Present project reviews, steering committee updates, executive readouts, release readiness reviews, and post-implementation reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 15+ years of project or program management experience in technology, engineering, manufacturing, semiconductor, or enterprise IT environments.
• Experience managing complex projects with competing priorities, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
• Experience leading global, cross-functional, matrixed teams across business, engineering, IT, architecture, operations, vendors, and executive stakeholders.
• Experience with PLM systems such as Teamcenter and Windchill, and MCAD/ECAD applications such as NX, Creo, E3.series, and OrCAD.
• Strong technical communication, analytical, organizational, leadership, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

• Advanced degree or business or technology management education.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum, SAFe, Prosci, ITIL, or Six Sigma certification.
