Manager, Marketing Planning And Strategy - Localization Specialist LATAM (Spanish Localization)

Location: On-site at the Bentonville, Arkansas home office five days per week. The posting also lists San Bruno, California as a compensation location.

Annual salary: $80,000–$155,000 in Bentonville, Arkansas; $104,000–$202,000 in San Bruno, California. Additional annual or quarterly performance bonuses and possible stock compensation.

What you will do

• Translate, edit, and review English content into accurate and culturally appropriate Latin American Spanish for Seller Center, marketing communications, Marketplace Learn, and other channels.
• Manage localization projects from intake and scoping through translation, review, quality assurance, launch, and closeout.
• Coordinate Product, Engineering, Marketing, Legal, Operations, International Markets, and external vendors across multiple concurrent workstreams.
• Perform in-context linguistic quality assurance and triage linguistic, product, and engineering defects.
• Manage translation memories, glossaries, style guides, quality standards, vendors, linguists, and service-level expectations.
• Improve localization workflows, documentation, automation, reporting, and integrations across Airtable, Jira, Crowdin, LILT, HubSpot, and Contentstack.

Requirements

• On-site availability five days per week is required.
• Native-level written and spoken Latin American Spanish proficiency is required, including ESMX and ESCL variants.
• Fluency in English is required.
• At least 5 years of experience in localization, translation, language operations, or content operations, including 2 years managing cross-functional projects or workstreams.
• Experience with CAT tools, translation management systems, automated localization workflows, software or UI localization, terminology management, style guides, and translation memories.
• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience, plus strong project, organizational, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Airtable, Crowdin, LILT, Jira, HubSpot, and Contentstack.
• Experience with e-commerce, marketplace, or seller-facing digital products in Latin America.
• Experience managing localization vendors, linguist performance, quality scorecards, capacity, and SLAs.
• Experience with machine translation, artificial intelligence, or large language models in localization workflows.
• Background in Spanish copywriting, UX writing, content editing, or transcreation.
