Annual salary: $104,000–$202,000 in San Bruno; $80,000–$155,000 in Bentonville, Arkansas. Additional annual or quarterly performance bonuses may apply.

What you will do

• Translate, edit, and review high-priority English content into accurate and culturally appropriate Simplified Chinese across Seller Center, marketing communications, Marketplace Learn, and other channels.
• Own linguistic quality for Mainland China, maintaining translation memories, glossaries, style guides, quality standards, and review protocols.
• Manage localization projects from intake and requirements gathering through scoping, scheduling, translation, quality assurance, launch, and closeout.
• Coordinate concurrent workstreams, vendors, stakeholders, deadlines, localization SLAs, risks, metrics, and launch readiness.
• Audit digital experiences, triage linguistic and product defects, document root causes, and coordinate issue resolution.
• Improve localization workflows and integrations using Airtable, Jira, Crowdin, LILT, HubSpot, and Contentstack.

Requirements

• Onsite work in San Bruno, California, United States; a Bentonville, Arkansas salary band is also listed.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field and one year of marketing or related experience, or five years of relevant experience.
• Professional Simplified Chinese translation, editing, review, and Mainland China localization expertise.
• Experience coordinating localization projects, quality assurance, stakeholders, vendors, timelines, and operational metrics.
• Ability to distinguish linguistic defects from product or engineering defects and coordinate resolution.
