Production Lead Trainee - Graveyard

Location: Hermiston, Oregon, USA (plant); graveyard shift.

Pay rate: $30.82 per hour.

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate processing operations for Lines 2/3, including even flows to the freeze tunnel areas.
• Provide direction, mentorship, and positive leadership to Line 2/3 team members.
• Maintain food safety, product quality, foreign-material controls, and compliance with USDA, FDA, and company requirements.
• Monitor equipment operation, operator checks, CILs, CLs, Defect Handling, and Run to Target performance.
• Work with Quality Assurance, Sanitation, Warehouse, Maintenance, and other Production Leads to resolve operational risks and losses.
• Participate in SDS, DDS, and AMD activities, focusing on root-cause analysis, equipment condition, safety, and asset utilization.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate, comprehend, and follow written and oral instructions in English.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in food manufacturing or a related field preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership, teamwork, strong work ethic, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills.
• Basic proficiency with Windows, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work around noisy equipment and temperature changes, and perform frequent standing, walking, bending, overhead, and equipment-access activities.
