Produce Lead Full Time

Location: Shore Parkway, NY #0195; onsite retail role

Pay range: $20.50–$25.63 per hour

What you will do

• Lead daily produce department operations while maintaining freshness through inspections, culling, rotation, and FIFO procedures.
• Monitor inventory, replenish products, support audits, and optimize stocking based on product movement, seasonal trends, and member purchasing patterns.
• Merchandise and label products accurately and assist with seasonal promotions and merchandising directives.
• Track sales, waste, and shrink data to identify process improvements and cost-reduction opportunities.
• Maintain sanitation, food safety, equipment-cleaning, and maintenance standards, including ServSafe compliance.
• Provide member service, address questions and concerns, escalate unresolved issues, and support smooth club operations.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in produce operations, grocery retail, or food handling.
• Strong knowledge of produce handling, quality standards, and food safety guidelines.
• Valid ServSafe Food Safety Certification must be maintained in good standing.
• Ability to analyze data, identify process improvements, and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
• Basic proficiency with MS Word, Excel, email, and other computer applications.
• Must be at least 18 years old and maintain all required training and certifications.
