Produce Lead Full Time

Location: Greenburgh, New York, United States; onsite

Salary: $20.50–$25.63 per hour

What you will do

• Lead daily produce department operations, including culling, rotation, quality checks, labeling, merchandising, and replenishment.
• Monitor inventory, support audits and reconciliation, and maintain accurate in-stock conditions while minimizing waste and shrink.
• Inspect produce cases, coolers, and freezers and maintain department equipment, sanitation, and safe food-handling conditions.
• Analyze sales, waste, and shrink data to identify process improvements and cost-reduction opportunities.
• Execute seasonal promotions and merchandising directives and escalate operational or equipment concerns to management.
• Support a positive member experience and assist other departments as needed.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in produce operations, grocery retail, or food handling.
• Strong knowledge of produce handling, quality standards, and food safety guidelines.
• Valid ServSafe Food Safety Certification must be maintained in good standing.
• Ability to analyze data, identify process improvements, and optimize efficiency.
• Basic proficiency with MS Word, Excel, email, and other computer applications.
• Must be at least 18 years old and maintain all required training and certifications.
