Sr. Learning & Development Specialist

Location: Washington, DC area; hybrid with a minimum of two in-office days per week and occasional additional office attendance for trainings, meetings, and events.

What you will do

• Design, develop, refine, and maintain firm-wide learning programs, curricula, training paths, and program materials.
• Coordinate and facilitate in-person classes, train-the-trainer programs, virtual workshops, events, and e-learning.
• Design interactive classroom, e-learning, and blended learning experiences.
• Assess training needs with practice and functional leaders, subject matter experts, and internal HR partners.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through employee surveys and recommend improvements to management and firm leaders.
• Support compliance training in Workday Learning, oversee continuing professional education resources, and mentor junior L&D team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years of experience in learning and development, e-learning, organizational development, or a related role.
• Experience designing and developing instructor-led training programs.
• Strong facilitation, written and verbal communication, organization, prioritization, and stakeholder relationship-building skills.
• Demonstrated experience leading change management and proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook or similar applications.
• Must be based in the Washington, DC area, work in the office at least two days per week, and provide verification of legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
