TL;DR
Learning & Development Specialist (AMER) (Instructional Design and Technical Training): Designing and delivering learning solutions that help employees use internal tools, systems, and processes with an accent on e-learning, instructor-led training, and performance-support resources. Focus on translating complex technical concepts into practical content, supporting system releases and digital adoption, and evaluating learning outcomes.
Location: Austin, Texas, United States; hybrid work from the Austin office with up to 10% travel for in-person training

What you will do
- Design, develop, and deliver learning initiatives aligned with organizational needs.
- Partner with the Business Technology Group and subject-matter experts to identify technical knowledge, skill, and performance needs.
- Translate complex systems, processes, and technical concepts into accessible training content.
- Create instructor-led training, virtual learning, e-learning modules, demonstrations, job aids, process guides, and performance-support resources.
- Support onboarding, employee development, digital adoption, system releases, and process changes.
- Manage learning materials and courses in the Learning Management System, coordinate training logistics, and track feedback, participation, completion, and outcomes.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in learning and development, training, education, or a related field.
- Experience developing and delivering learning for systems, tools, processes, or other technical subject matter.
- Understanding of adult-learning and instructional-design principles.
- Strong facilitation, presentation, communication, organization, and project-coordination skills.
- Experience creating e-learning, job aids, documentation, and other learning materials.
- Ability to collaborate with subject-matter experts and stakeholders across departments and work with changing systems and priorities.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with order-to-cash and procure-to-pay business processes.
- Experience with digital adoption platforms such as Whatfix.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems and e-learning authoring tools.
