Quality Director (Aerospace)

Location: On-site in New Port Richey, Florida, United States; willingness to travel up to 30% is required, including travel to the primary aerospace site in Redruth, UK.

What you will do

• Develop and implement aerospace quality strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
• Act as the aerospace business point of contact for quality escalations and problem solving.
• Lead and mentor site quality leaders across multiple locations.
• Analyze quality metrics and trends to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Oversee internal and external audits, regulatory inspections, and customer audits.
• Manage regional quality resources and capacity planning while driving continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, manufacturing management, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive quality management experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in regulated aerospace and military industries and manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems, regulatory standards, and industry best practices.
• Proven leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Nice to have

• ASQ CQE, Six Sigma Black Belt, or another quality certification.
