Quality Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Warwick, Rhode Island, United States; onsite at an ITAR-controlled facility. Candidates must be a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15.

What you will do

• Represent the quality function as the principal customer liaison and manage customer engagement and supplier quality activities.
• Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System in alignment with ISO 9001 and related standards.
• Lead inspection, testing, quality data analysis, non-conformance management, and audit programs.
• Develop and run Corrective and Preventive Action processes to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence.
• Lead structured problem-solving, quality projects, Lean and Six Sigma continuous improvement initiatives, and APQP activities.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of quality professionals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 5 years of experience with manufacturing quality systems and at least 3 years of team leadership experience preferred.
• Experience with ISO management systems, including ISO 9001, 14001, or 45001.
• Advanced knowledge of root-cause analysis, corrective action implementation, quality procedures, and control plans.
• Working knowledge of Lean principles, including 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and MDI.
• US Person status is required for work at the ITAR-controlled site.

• Professional quality certifications such as CQE, CQM, or CQA.
