Senior Quality Engineer (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Support internal, external, and customer audits to ensure compliance with quality management systems, regulatory requirements, and customer standards.
• Manage non-conformance reports and implement corrective actions.
• Interpret specifications and make disposition decisions.
• Provide quality guidance to manufacturing teams and resolve product and process issues.
• Lead root cause investigations and apply quality tools and problem-solving methodologies.
• Maintain PPAP documentation, manage customer quality communications, and monitor quality KPIs to support continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience in Quality Engineering or a similar quality-focused role within a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of aerospace and/or defence requirements, including AS9100 and NADCAP standards.
• Experience with customer quality management, specification review, contract requirements, and quality issue resolution.
• Proven root cause analysis, problem-solving, analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Must be eligible to work in the United Kingdom.
