Civil Engineer (4+ years)

Location: Spokane, WA, USA; office-based position

Salary: USD 93,000–115,000 yearly

What you will do

• Apply civil engineering skills to challenging site development projects across multiple markets.
• Create conceptual plans and prepare construction documents.
• Design site plans, grading and drainage plans, stormwater management systems, water and sanitary sewer utility plans, pedestrian accessibility improvements, and related infrastructure.
• Collaborate with junior and senior civil engineers, other engineering disciplines, and architects.
• Visit construction sites and provide technical assistance during design and construction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an ABET-accredited program.
• At least 4 years of professional site development experience.
• Engineer-in-Training registration is required; Professional Engineering licensure is preferred, with the ability to become licensed in Washington State.
• Experience with conceptual plans, construction plans, grading and drainage, stormwater, water and sanitary sewer utilities, and accessibility design.
• Effective technical writing, communication, time management, and collaboration skills.
• This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
