TL;DR
Executive Oncology Sales Specialist, Solid Tumor GU (Oncology) (pharmaceutical sales): Selling and supporting oncology therapeutics across hospital and large-account customers in the Worcester territory with an accent on clinical product knowledge, account strategy, reimbursement, and compliant customer engagement. Focus on prospecting and penetrating assigned accounts, developing customer-specific sales plans, analyzing business opportunities, and closing orders against sales objectives.

Location: Field-based role supporting the Worcester, Massachusetts territory, including Cape Cod and Metro West, Plymouth, Foxboro, Milford, Marlborough, and Natick. Candidates must reside in the geography or be willing to relocate to it.

Salary: $111,000–$178,250 base pay annually, plus eligibility for applicable incentive programs.

What you will do

  • Sell current and potential new oncology therapeutics within the assigned territory.
  • Explain clinical efficacy, communicate customer value propositions, and provide approved clinical information and support.
  • Analyze accounts, prospect for new business, and develop account penetration strategies with the District Manager.
  • Create customer-specific pre-call and post-call plans using approved materials and marketing resources.
  • Discuss reimbursement options compliantly and use account engagement to improve sales opportunities.
  • Negotiate sales and close orders to achieve territory objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • At least two years of successful pharmaceutical, biologic, biotech, or medical device sales experience, or recent transition from active-duty military service.
  • Hospital and large-account sales experience, including sophisticated reimbursement issues and Medicare Part D.
  • Demonstrated successful sales performance in a driven environment.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed, including overnight and weekend travel.
  • Willingness to complete credentialing requirements, including specified vaccinations, TB testing, and annual background checks.

Nice to have

  • Specialty sales experience and knowledge of the solid GU and oncology market.
  • Commitment to learning emerging technologies such as AI.
