What you will do
- Provide program management support across all phases of the DoD acquisition lifecycle, from Materiel Solution Analysis through Operations & Support.
- Advise government program managers on program execution, acquisition strategy, and risk management.
- Develop, review, and coordinate acquisition strategies, systems engineering plans, test and evaluation plans, sustainment plans, statements of work, and related documentation.
- Monitor cost, schedule, and performance using metrics and Earned Value Management, while maintaining risk registers and mitigation plans.
- Lead or support Integrated Product Teams, milestone reviews, technical reviews, source selection activities, and contract modifications.
- Coordinate engineering, logistics, test, financial, and international stakeholders, and prepare briefings and decision-support materials for senior leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with 10 years of relevant experience.
- Program management experience, preferably in DoD acquisition or another regulated environment.
- Current Top Secret clearance.
- Knowledge of DoD acquisition lifecycle processes, DoDI 5000 series, requirements development, and JCIDS processes.
- Experience with acquisition documentation, Earned Value Management, risk mitigation, and scheduling tools such as MS Project or Primavera.
- Ability to operate independently as a senior adviser, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage multiple priorities, and solve complex problems.
Nice to have
- PMP certification.
- DAWIA Level II or III in Program Management or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience supporting AFLCMC, SAF/AQ, Air Force acquisition organizations, armament systems, or Foreign Military Sales programs.
