Americas Advanced Manufacturing Strategy (AMS) Program Manager (Manufacturing Strategy/Program Management): Designing the Americas manufacturing footprint and orchestrating complex capital programs across manufacturing sites with an accent on network architecture, demand scenario modeling, and operational resilience. Focus on integrating 5–10 interdependent sub-projects, enforcing phase-gate governance, developing investment business cases, and aligning senior stakeholders around phased transformation roadmaps.

Location: Davidson, North Carolina, United States; onsite Monday through Thursday, with a flexible work location on Fridays

Annual base salary: $123,721.66–$173,004.99, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do

  • Design and continuously optimize the Americas manufacturing footprint and long-term network architecture.
  • Model demand scenarios and align capacity plans with Commercial forecasts and market volatility.
  • Evaluate make-versus-buy, vertical integration, factory specialization, regions, and potential manufacturing sites.
  • Develop business cases with Finance, assessing capital investments, service lead times, and supply-chain resilience.
  • Integrate complex multi-phase programs involving 5–10 interdependent sub-projects, including equipment relocation, regulatory approvals, site buildouts, expansions, consolidations, and work transfers.
  • Establish phase-gate governance, coordinate executive decisions, and support change management and workforce readiness during operational transitions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Business, or a related technical discipline.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations, industrial engineering, or supply chain.
  • Experience coordinating multi-phase capital programs or transition initiatives across multiple manufacturing sites.
  • Strong program integration skills, including critical-path management, resource smoothing, and risk-register management.
  • Ability to align Finance, Procurement, HR, IT, Engineering, and Plant Operations stakeholders through structured governance.
  • Understanding of advanced manufacturing technologies, including MES, PLM, automation, DFM/DFA, FMEA, and 3P.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree or MBA.
  • 5+ years of direct leadership in manufacturing, operations strategy, or complex capital and transformation programs.
