Contract Negotiator V (Healthcare)

Location: Remote-TX; preference for candidates living in Texas

Salary: $107,700–$199,300 per year

What you will do

• Negotiate provider and vendor contracts, manage implementations, and maintain ongoing partnerships.
• Conduct market research and analysis for assigned agreements.
• Direct financial analyses and operational reporting for vendor and provider partnerships.
• Lead and track the financial and operational performance of designated partnerships.
• Develop corrective action plans and agreement modifications in coordination with health plans and internal teams.
• Present performance data, scorecards, partnership strategies, and negotiation results to health plans, corporate teams, and executive management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of vendor or provider contract negotiation, contract analysis, or modeling experience in healthcare or a similar industry.
• Proven experience negotiating contracts with successful outcomes and measurable financial results.
• Experience presenting negotiation strategies and results to senior-level audiences.
• Advanced negotiation, organizational, analytical, and presentation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with healthcare provider negotiations for pharmacy benefit management or managed care.
