Circuit Designer Specialist (Telecommunications)

What you will do

• Analyze service orders and design end-to-end circuits for customer service delivery.
• Prepare detailed circuit layout records and coordinate provisioning requirements with internal departments.
• Work with third-party vendors to order cross connects, CFAs, and risers.
• Maintain facility inventory systems, service orders, billing items, and network records.
• Support field operations and vendors in resolving complex circuit provisioning and order issues.
• Act as a first-level escalation point for ISP requests, expedites, and complex design issues while supporting team onboarding.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in telecommunications circuit design covering the full lifecycle from order acceptance to published CLR.
• Hands-on knowledge of telecommunications equipment configuration.
• Proficient or expert use of Metasolv/M6 and experience with Salesforce and Metasolv database applications.
• In-depth knowledge of telecommunications standards and protocols.
• Competency with database applications and Microsoft Excel, Visio, and Word.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage high-volume workloads, including occasional off-hours and weekend work.
