Location: Remote - Kentucky, United States
Salary: $77,100β$118,600 USD annually

What you will do
- Plan network designs, create records, and fulfill orders for products across market areas, with a focus on growth products.
- Design complex circuits interfacing with carriers and customer solutions, including transport and facility requirements.
- Review orders for technical correctness, resolve design issues, and maintain commitments and deadlines in Salesforce and MSS.
- Coordinate with service activation, field technicians, order management, project management, and other internal teams during provisioning and customer turn-up.
- Support troubleshooting of pre-build, post-installation, and complex circuit provisioning issues.
- Prioritize workloads, overcome carrier roadblocks, support escalations, and contribute to engineering standards and operations projects.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in a technical discipline or equivalent education, training, or experience.
- At least five years of telecommunications and/or data networking experience, including at least three years of design engineering or provisioning experience.
- Working knowledge of routers, data hardware, network QoS, IP routing, Ethernet switching, and packet and wavelength tagging.
- Intermediate knowledge of data networking and telecommunications services, including Ethernet, TCP/IP, EoTDM, EoC, EoF, third-party transport, private line, dedicated Internet, MPLS, and cloud services.
- Experience with routing protocols including OSPF, BGP, and MPLS, as well as Microsoft Office, Google programs, databases, spreadsheets, and project management software.
- Strong communication, logical problem-solving, prioritization, deadline management, and customer-conflict resolution skills.
