Critical Infrastructure Engineer I - Delivery - MA

Location: Remote in Massachusetts, with required travel and field work throughout Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut

Estimated base salary: $77,100–$118,600 USD annually

What you will do

• Design and specify AC and DC power equipment, including switchboards, transformers, generators, UPS systems, rectifiers, batteries, grounding systems, fire control systems, and HVAC.
• Maintain central office records, floor plans, front equipment drawings, and capacity management reports.
• Manage contracted maintenance vendors, callout repairs, quoted service repairs, invoicing, and purchase request submissions.
• Develop operating standards and write Method of Procedures for critical infrastructure repairs and augmentations.
• Evaluate field service reports, resolve preventive maintenance deficiencies, and support Field Operations and NCC/NOC technicians.
• Manage critical infrastructure augmentation projects, environmental compliance, permitting, equipment inventory, and data integrity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• At least five years of experience with telecommunications critical infrastructure equipment, including AC power distribution, grounding, fire systems, generators, ATS/MTS, UPS, DC power plants, and cooling systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and database applications.
• Project management experience.
• Ability to pass an MVR check and hold a state-issued driver’s license for the state of residence to operate a company vehicle.
• Availability for travel throughout the hirify.global footprint and participation in an on-call rotation.
