Business Systems Analyst I – IS (Business Systems)

Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States; onsite, Monday–Friday, 8 hours per day

Annual base salary: $70,304–$143,000 USD, plus restricted stock units and quarterly bonus payments.

What you will do

• Gather, analyze, validate, and document business requirements with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Support workshops, interviews, process mapping, application evaluations, and process improvement recommendations.
• Develop use cases, user stories, process flows, data models, functional documentation, and test cases under guidance.
• Collaborate with Developers and QA to transition requirements into implementation and testing activities.
• Participate in application validation and user acceptance testing, including SQL queries for analysis, reporting, and QA.
• Provide user support and help investigate and resolve issues in business applications while following project management and change-control procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of the software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
• Exposure to business process modeling, requirements management tools, or data analysis through coursework or internships.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, presentation, listening, facilitation, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing priorities, and work with offshore Developers and QA engineers through flexible work hours.
• Ability to work onsite in Colorado Springs, United States.

Nice to have

• Internship or project experience as a Business Analyst or in a related BPA/business role.
• Experience with scenario development, test case construction, or flowcharting.
• Domain experience in manufacturing, finance, supply chain, or procurement.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or project management.
