Salary: $86,320–$154,960 per year for the Scientist / Associate Scientist role. An Associate Scientist range of $65,520–$114,400 is also listed.

What you will do

• Design and execute cell-based therapeutic evaluation workflows and validation pipelines across concurrent patient cases.
• Derive, characterize, and bank patient-specific cellular models for screening and functional validation.
• Design and validate RT-qPCR and ddPCR assays and perform biochemical and imaging-based readouts.
• Manage parallel experimental timelines and communicate proactively with collaborating teams.
• Maintain documentation, data integrity, quality control, supplies, and laboratory equipment.
• Support a collaborative, shared-responsibility research environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in genomics, molecular biology, cell biology, or a related scientific field.
• Experience with plate-based molecular screening workflows and quantitative nucleic acid assays, including RT-qPCR and ddPCR.
• Working knowledge of RNA biology, particularly pre-mRNA splicing, and ability to interpret molecular readouts in a therapeutic context.
• Proficiency in mammalian cell culture, including complex or patient-derived cellular models.
• Ability to execute multi-step workflows across parallel projects and adapt protocols under scientific uncertainty.
• Relevant research experience: 8 years for Scientist, or 7+ years for Associate Scientist, with reduced requirements for candidates holding a Master's degree or PhD.

Nice to have

• Experience with isoform-discriminating or allele-specific probe design.
• Prior experience with Janus liquid handlers.
