hirify.globalss="what-you-will-do">What you will do

• Perform assistant controller functions as part of client accounting services teams.
• Advise higher education clients on accounting and finance best practices.
• Manage multiple client projects, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Prepare and analyze client financial statements and provide recommendations.
• Maintain knowledge of client policies, federal and state directives, and current accounting standards.
• Participate in industry events and professional training.

• At least 6 years of relevant accounting and/or financial experience.
• Bachelor's degree required; equivalent combinations of experience, education, and training may be accepted.
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP.
• Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Intacct, Great Plains, Yardi, MRI, Timberline, Sage, Foundations, Xero, or Peoplesoft.
• Higher education industry experience is strongly preferred.
