What you will do

• Support complex financial operations and maintain compliance with agency policies and federal accounting standards.
• Use automated financial and acquisition systems as information management and decision-support tools.
• Apply quality assurance procedures to protect the integrity of data recorded in the agency financial system.
• Resolve moderately complex to complex customer and financial issues, escalating matters when appropriate.
• Support audits, improve workflows, and respond clearly to employee questions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and contractor teams to achieve shared goals.

Requirements

• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
• Senior level: bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field, plus at least three years of professional experience in financial records processing and management.
• For the senior level, six years of equivalent relevant experience may substitute for the degree.
• Full performance level: associate degree in finance, business administration, or a related field, plus at least two years of relevant experience.
• For the full performance level, four years of equivalent relevant experience may substitute for the degree.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, FASAB, FASB, financial systems, customer service, communication, and teamwork is required.
