What you will do

  • Manage client relationships and act as the primary contact for healthcare advisory engagements.
  • Coordinate client deliverables, recurring status meetings, project plans, milestones, resources, and deadlines.
  • Support grant compliance, reporting, audit readiness, grant tracking, award inventories, and compliance calendars.
  • Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, account governance, financial reporting, workpapers, and supporting documentation.
  • Support month-end, year-end, accounting process improvement, and internal control initiatives.
  • Supervise, coach, train, and provide technical guidance and feedback to seniors, consultants, and staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of accounting, financial reporting, consulting, or related client-service experience.
  • Experience with grant reporting and compliance; healthcare, grant compliance, or federal funding experience is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP, financial statements, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, internal controls, and accounting processes.
  • Strong project management, organization, communication, problem-solving, critical thinking, and team leadership skills.
  • Advanced Excel and financial reporting tool proficiency; CPA is preferred.
