What you will do

• Perform, validate, document, and report laboratory test results for prognosis, diagnosis, treatment, and research.
• Conduct quality control activities for reagents and analyzers, document results, and escalate issues.
• Support equipment setup, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Manage laboratory inventory and update procedures and maintenance manuals.
• Collect quality data and participate in quality program initiatives.
• Follow hospital, licensing, and accrediting standards while supporting assigned CLIA roles and laboratory shifts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in medical technology, medical laboratory science, or a biological, chemical, or physical science.
• Completion of a medical laboratory training program.
• Medical laboratory skills gained through clinical rotations or training.
• Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Technologist from an approved accrediting organization is required within six months of hire if not licensed in Tennessee.
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., with rotating weekend and holiday coverage.
