Product Development Associate

Location: New York, NY

Salary: $60,000–$65,000 base salary per year, plus benefits, a short-term incentive program, clothing allowance, and merchandise discounts.

hirify.global is a fashion brand developing women's apparel, including sweaters and cut-and-sew knits.

What you will do

• Support the development of women's sweaters and cut-and-sew knits from concept through production handoff.
• Source yarns, coordinate yarn orders and lab dips, send color standards, and track materials with mills and vendors.
• Track trims, samples, components, and seasonal work-in-progress files in partnership with the Product Development Manager.
• Create and maintain BOMs, product information, colorways, and components in PLM and related systems.
• Coordinate parcels and sample flow with overseas factories, organize proto and SMS samples, and maintain the sample library.
• Attend BOM reviews and proto fittings, prepare samples for selling appointments, and collaborate with Design, Technical Design, Raw Materials, Merchandising, and Production.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in apparel, product development, production, or a related fashion field.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Familiarity with product development and production processes.
• Exceptional organization, communication, time management, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines and communicate professionally with internal partners and overseas vendors.
• Genuine interest in working with physical products and a proactive, dependable approach.

Nice to have

• Experience with knitwear, including sweaters and cut-and-sew knits.
• Familiarity with PLM systems.
• Experience with Vibe IQ and/or Exenta.
