Entry-Level Tool Technician (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Process EVA training tools and hardware for Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory training events and other tool classes.
• Test, maintain, repair, and refurbish training tools and hardware according to documented procedures.
• Work from drawings, schematics, equipment specifications, and test procedures.
• Perform NBL safety walkthroughs and maintain certifications required for assigned duties.
• Coordinate daily with technicians, engineering, logistics, and bond room personnel.
• Deliver hardware to events, track its status, and support milestone completion.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and technical training.
• Experience with pressure systems.
• Ability to perform physically demanding activities and pass a Class III physical examination.
• Ability to work in a team environment with strong oral communication skills.
• Ability to use job-related databases, including SARAH and OnBase.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle for hardware deliveries.
