Lead System Administrator (SaaS)

Salary: $111,000–$174,000 per year at the start of employment, with expected OTE of $123,000–$193,000 per year including bonus or commission.

What you will do

• Act as the primary technical escalation point for the Service Desk and provide Tier 3 support for complex IT, macOS, hardware, network, and SaaS issues.
• Own the maintenance, configuration, availability, security, and business continuity of core IT services.
• Lead incident response and outage coordination, communicate status to the business, and perform deep root cause analysis.
• Administer and troubleshoot Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, Zscaler, Iru, and related API-based integrations.
• Design and maintain Bash, Python, Ruby, or similar scripts and applications to automate IT operations and reduce manual work.
• Document IT services, manage vendors, remediate security issues, and mentor team members on operational best practices.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience supporting Google Workspace, Slack, Okta, Iru, and other enterprise SaaS platforms, including API-based administration.
• Knowledge of virtualization and cloud environments such as AWS, VMware, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation with Bash, Python, and/or Ruby.
• Experience with Jira, Git, and GAM, plus strong networking fundamentals including the OSI model.
• Experience designing, implementing, and improving IT services, with a strong understanding of security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery.
• Strong written and verbal communication, self-direction, prioritization, and familiarity with software development lifecycle principles.

Nice to have

• ITIL Foundation certification or higher.
• Experience managing cloud infrastructure in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
