IT Generalist

Location: San Francisco; hybrid work model with regular weekly attendance at the local office

Salary: US Tier 1 $121,000–$164,000 per year, plus equity and bonus opportunities

What you will do

• Provide first-line IT support through Slack and the internal ticketing system.
• Manage employee onboarding and offboarding, including Okta account provisioning and SaaS license administration.
• Administer Google Workspace, Slack, Jamf, 1Password, Zoom, and other business-critical SaaS applications.
• Procure, configure, track, and maintain macOS hardware and inventory.
• Support SOC 2 and GDPR compliance through access controls, audits, and data-security processes.
• Identify operational gaps, improve support workflows, and document processes for better self-service.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in IT support or systems administration.
• Proficiency with Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and Apple device management; Jamf experience is preferred.
• Ability to work locally from the San Francisco office on a regular weekly basis under the hybrid model.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize varied IT tasks, and support users in a fast-paced environment.
• Security-first mindset with an understanding of access controls and audit trails.
• Experience with or interest in compliance frameworks such as SOC 2.

Nice to have

• Experience with Lumos, Drata, Rippling, 1Password, or Slack-based ticketing systems.
