Senior Supply Chain Program Manager (Aerospace & Defense)

Location: Lone Tree, Colorado, United States; office-based role with 25%–50% travel. U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance are required.

Estimated starting salary: $165,010.21–$226,889.04 per year, plus annual performance incentive pay.

What you will do

• Lead supply chain strategy, planning, execution, and performance for business units or large, complex aerospace and defense programs.
• Supervise Supply Chain Project Coordinators and Supply Chain Program Managers, including performance management, staffing, recruiting, and training.
• Manage supplier and subcontractor performance, sourcing, negotiations, Statements of Work, requirements flow-downs, and alternate-source strategies.
• Coordinate procurement, subcontract management, engineering, operations, business management, and program teams to deliver cost, technical, and schedule objectives.
• Manage supply chain risks, opportunities, recovery plans, dashboards, program reviews, and stakeholder reporting.
• Apply Earned Value Management to track budgets, forecasts, CPI, SPI, variances, and corrective actions; support proposals, make-or-buy assessments, and supplier evaluations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with a technical or engineering emphasis, or 15+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• 11+ years of experience in operations or a related field, with extensive program, subcontract, procurement, and contract management experience.
• Experience across product lifecycle phases including prototyping, development, qualification, certification, low-rate initial production, full-rate production, and sustainment.
• Expertise in Design for Supply Chain, Design to Product Target Cost, risk and opportunity management, EVMS, material forecasting, ERP/MRP systems, and gate reviews.
• Experience with the Department of Defense and aerospace and defense sectors, including electronics, software, and other high-tech commodities.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance are required. Ability to travel 25%–50% on average and occasionally travel extensively.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• CPSM, PMP, ISM, or Defense Acquisition University certification.
• Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations, FAA regulations, AS9100, cybersecurity requirements, Ivalua, CostPoint, or other ERP/MRP systems.
• Experience leading large-scale procurement operations and influencing stakeholders across organizational levels.
