Team Lead, Mobile Equipment Mechanic (Heavy Equipment)

Location: Laval, Quebec, Canada; occasional travel to the Port of Quebec site

What you will do

• Lead mobile equipment maintenance activities across operational sites.
• Maintain, repair, and refurbish trucks, excavators, loaders, lifts, and other fleet equipment.
• Perform visual inspections and scheduled preventive maintenance.
• Replace defective parts and complete necessary repairs.
• Ensure equipment operates safely and meets company standards.
• Travel occasionally to support the team at the Port of Quebec site.

Requirements

• Experience in a similar mobile equipment mechanic role.
• Diploma in heavy equipment mechanics.
• Independence, reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Excellent manual dexterity and speed of execution.
• Strong teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• PEP certification.
• Experience with hydraulic systems.
