What you will do

• Maintain mobile heavy equipment, fleet vehicles, trucks, trailers, and off-road construction equipment.
• Perform diagnostics, preventative maintenance, repairs, overhauls, and component replacements.
• Repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, engine, tire, and body damage issues.
• Assess faults, recommend repair scopes, and identify improvements that increase reliability and reduce downtime.
• Maintain accurate preventative maintenance records, fleet software entries, reports, and paperwork.
• Promote a strong workplace safety culture and collaborate with the shop team.

Requirements

• Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician certification with truck and trailer experience; Red Seal is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience maintaining and repairing heavy trucks, trailers, yellow iron, and off-road construction equipment, including excavators, skid steers, front-end loaders, and HDD rigs.
• Basic computer proficiency and the ability to use computerized testing equipment.
• Ability to move and operate equipment.
• Strong workplace health and safety awareness.
• Valid driver’s license for the vehicles driven and an acceptable driving record.
