What you will do

• Develop technical knowledge of supported product lines, company procedures, and field service standards.
• Assist senior technicians with equipment installation, inspection, servicing, repair, and planned maintenance.
• Operate truck-based cranes, forklifts, welders, torches, and power and hand tools.
• Complete service tickets, timesheets, job tracking forms, safety analyses, and other field documentation.
• Build positive customer relationships and coordinate activities with other company departments.
• Complete required training and follow company, customer, and work-site safety requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license, successful DOT medical examination, and ongoing compliance with driver qualification standards.
• Ability to read safety rules, blueprints, schematics, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to prepare routine reports, communicate effectively with customers and employees, and apply basic arithmetic.
• Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.
• Prior mechanical, electrical, or welding experience is helpful but not required.
