hirify.globalss="what-you-will-do">What you will do

• Develop internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures for budgeting, cash and credit management, and accounting.
• Coordinate financial planning, budgeting, procurement, investment activities, and preparation of financial information.
• Prepare or direct the preparation of financial statements, activity reports, forecasts, budgets, and regulatory reports.
• Evaluate funding and investment needs and provide recommendations to management.
• Monitor financial ratios and key performance indicators, and oversee accounting and finance staff performance.
• Communicate with boards, bankers, investors, and other stakeholders, including supporting or hosting board presentations.

• Bachelor's degree required; equivalent combinations of related education, training, and experience may be accepted.
• At least 7 years of relevant accounting and/or financial experience.
• Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, including FASB/SFAS, or another comprehensive basis of accounting.
• Working knowledge of accounting software and systems; proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong organization, self-motivation, communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• Proven ability to manage work and key client relationships while exceeding client expectations.

• Construction industry and back-office accounting experience.
• Public accounting experience.
• CPA certification.
