Accounting Operations Analyst (Construction)

What you will do

• Execute month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance follow-up.
• Perform job cost accounting, track projects, support revenue recognition, and prepare work-in-progress schedules.
• Maintain accurate records across the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets.
• Prepare supporting schedules, reports, analyses, and reconciliations for financial reporting.
• Use ERP systems to process transactions, resolve discrepancies, and improve data quality and process efficiency.
• Support internal controls, audits, compliance activities, technical documentation, and system updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 1–2 years of progressive corporate and operations accounting experience.
• Foundational knowledge of GAAP and ability to apply accounting principles in daily activities.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments and meet close deadlines.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and advanced Excel functions such as formulas, VLOOKUP, reconciliations, and data organization.
• Construction industry experience is preferred.
