Primary Fund Placement Analyst - Project Management & Distribution (NYC)

Location: New York City, NY 10022; in-office role. Candidates must be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Base salary: $110,000–$115,000 per year, plus incentive-eligible performance compensation.

What you will do

• Support the capital-raising process for premier private equity firms and other alternative investment managers.
• Work directly with clients and senior team members throughout client engagements.
• Build and maintain relationships with private equity, private credit, hedge fund, real estate, venture capital, tax equity, and co-investment stakeholders.
• Engage with limited partners including family offices, funds of funds, sovereign wealth funds, endowments, foundations, and pension funds.
• Analyze data, identify trends, and communicate the impact of findings.
• Prepare, quality-check, and deliver accurate work products while coordinating active workstreams and deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year institution.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
• Ability to work in the U.S. without employment visa sponsorship.
• Understanding of financial terminology and core financial principles.
• Working knowledge of Excel formulas, data validation, macros, tables, and conditional formatting.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication, responsiveness, ownership, and teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• Prior CRM or Salesforce experience.
• Relevant industry experience; roles at this level typically require 3+ years of relevant experience.
