TL;DR
Investment Analyst (Private Equity): Supporting the management, oversight, and client service of private equity products with an accent on performance, risk, and portfolio analysis. Focus on preparing fund and marketing materials, integrating technology initiatives, supporting fundraising and investor due diligence, and communicating investment strategies and performance to clients.
Location: New York, NY, United States; office attendance 4 days per week with flexibility to work remotely 1 day per week
Salary: USD 80,000–150,000 per year, plus potential bonus, incentives, and benefits.

What you will do
- Support Investment Directors and Specialists with product management and investment-related activities for private equity strategies.
- Perform performance, IRR, risk, and portfolio analysis for private investment products.
- Prepare and review fund documents, RFPs, client content, and marketing materials.
- Support technology initiative development and integration.
- Assist with fundraising, investor due diligence, relationship management, and ongoing investor requests.
- Participate in client, prospect, and consultant meetings to communicate investment strategies, portfolio companies, and performance.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of relevant experience.
- University degree with very strong academic credentials.
- Working knowledge of and interest in private investments.
- Strong technical skills and mastery of MS Excel.
- Analytical ability to organize, synthesize, and interpret investment data.
- Clear written and verbal communication, attention to detail, sound judgment, initiative, and ability to work independently and with a global team.
Nice to have
- Progress toward the CFA or CAIA designation.
- Interest in developing presentation skills.
