GP Stakes Strategic Value, Analyst/Associate

Location: New York, United States

Annual base salary: $100,000–$175,000, plus discretionary bonuses and potential equity or other incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Research and analyze growth, institutionalization and operating excellence initiatives for GP Stakes portfolio firms.
• Advise portfolio GPs on product strategy, fundraising, distribution, market positioning and benchmarking.
• Collaborate with hirify.global specialists across technology, generative AI, cybersecurity, finance, legal, compliance, capital markets, talent and communications.
• Create presentation materials, business plans, memos, marketing collateral and proprietary strategic playbooks.
• Engage with portfolio GPs, monitor business developments and fundraising progress, and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Support forums, roundtables, thematic events, GP Stakes sourcing and market-mapping activities.

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant experience in strategy consulting for investment management, asset management product strategy, fund structuring, capital formation or a related role supporting private market GPs.
• Understanding of private markets, alternative asset classes, fund structures and fundraising.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including market-trend evaluation, benchmarking analysis and actionable recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create polished senior-facing materials.
• Advanced PowerPoint, Excel and Word skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality work under tight timelines.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
