Location: Washington, DC, United States; onsite

What you will do

• Gather news information through calls, emails, and social media monitoring.
• Research stories for field and show teams.
• Compile the morning News Roundup memo.
• Log and transcribe news events and share relevant editorial information.
• Coordinate video feeds sent from the field.
• Support news managers, producers, correspondents, and anchors as assigned.

Requirements

• At least six months of television experience, including internships, in a news or talk show environment.
• Knowledge and experience with video editing and social media.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Self-starter mindset with a proactive approach to finding tasks and growth opportunities.
• Availability and willingness to work overtime, nights, holidays, and weekends, often with short notice.

• Knowledge and experience with ENPS.
