Controls Engineer II (Automation)

Location: On-site in Zeeland, Michigan, at hirify.global facilities including the North Riley Campus and State Street; not eligible for remote work.

What you will do

• Provide expert support for new and existing automated manufacturing systems.
• Monitor automated equipment and define improvement opportunities.
• Develop PLC programs and software for new and existing equipment.
• Create electrical and pneumatic schematics and specify automation hardware and software.
• Collaborate with engineers to standardize automation and programming solutions.
• Support new manufacturing process development, equipment launches, research, and production-team training.

Requirements

• Four-year engineering degree or equivalent combination of education and controls engineering experience.
• At least three years of experience designing, programming, or integrating automated equipment.
• Experience with robotics applications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work on-site at hirify.global facilities in Zeeland, Michigan.
• U.S. work authorization is required; employment authorization is verified through E-Verify.
