Strategy Insights & Planning Consultant (Supply Chain Planning)

Location: Hybrid, with work from home and on-site presence at hirify.global offices or client locations in New York, New York; Princeton, New Jersey; or Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Client-facing work requires travel as needed. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

Salary: $160,000–$177,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead client workstreams covering demand planning, forecasting, supply planning, inventory planning, production planning, scheduling, S&OP, and capacity planning.
• Assess planning processes and design improvements for service levels, inventory, and operational performance.
• Support rough-cut capacity planning, network planning and design, and long-term capacity planning initiatives.
• Design and deploy improved planning processes, workflows, operating models, analytics, and ways of working.
• Support APS and ERP initiatives involving SAP IBP, Oracle Planning, Kinaxis, OMP, Blue Yonder, RELEX, and o9 from a business and end-user perspective.
• Manage project workstreams, client relationships, timelines, and deliverables while mentoring junior team members and contributing to AI-enabled planning solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain management, operations research, industrial engineering, business, data science, applied mathematics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain planning, including demand or supply planning, forecasting, inventory planning, production planning, or scheduling.
• Hands-on experience as a planner, planning supervisor, planning manager, or in a closely related supply chain role.
• Strong knowledge of S&OP, forecasting, inventory management, capacity planning, and production planning.
• Experience with APS and ERP systems and with planning process or technology implementations.
• Fluency in English and authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
