Technical Operations Manager

Location: Santa Teresa, New Mexico, United States; 10% travel. Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Compensation: $133,000–$154,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop and govern operational programs covering operator training, technical certification, site readiness, emergency response, maintenance standards, CMMS health, uptime, and event response.
• Develop, review, and audit SOP, MOP, and EOP templates and processes for routine and emergency work on critical infrastructure.
• Support root cause analyses and incident reviews to identify systemic gaps and preventive actions.
• Deliver training and guidance to field personnel across multiple markets.
• Troubleshoot program, process, and system issues affecting productivity or safety.
• Partner with Operations, Safety, Engineering, and IT to scale critical operations programs across the portfolio.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in data center operations or another mission-critical environment such as power generation, utilities, or industrial facilities.
• Experience with electrical and mechanical infrastructure, including power distribution, UPS, generators, HVAC, and fire/life safety systems.
• Experience writing, reviewing, or auditing SOPs, MOPs, or EOPs.
• Experience leading portfolio-wide operational programs and managing projects in critical infrastructure.
• Familiarity with CMMS and/or DCIM platforms, incident management, event response coordination, or availability metrics.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Must pass comprehensive background and drug screening.
