What you will do

• Verify insurance policy benefits for new and returning patients with payers.
• Collect and document complete, accurate insurance information in Salesforce.
• Identify policy clauses, third-party benefits, and referral issues affecting admissions and financial decisions.
• Educate patients, families, and internal teams on insurance-related matters.
• Investigate escalated billing inquiries and inaccuracies and resolve affected accounts.
• Support admissions, revenue cycle, financial counseling, and other internal teams as needed.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of related experience in healthcare administration, finance, insurance, customer service, claims, billing, call center, or management.
• Knowledge of medical billing practices and office policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of patient confidentiality requirements and ability to protect confidential medical information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and strict attention to detail.
• High integrity when handling sensitive patient and insurance information.
