TL;DR
Procurement Service Liaison (Aerospace): Coordinating supplier procurement, forecasts, purchase orders, and delivery of critical and AOG aircraft parts with an accent on customer liaison, risk mitigation, inventory control, and supplier performance analysis. Focus on expediting materials, resolving quality and service requests, aligning forecasts, and maintaining on-time delivery for aerospace operations.

Location: Columbus, Mississippi, United States; 95% onsite. Travel required: 5% domestic and international. Applicants must be US Persons under the ITAR definition and have current US work authorization.

hirify.global Helicopters manufactures and assembles helicopters in Columbus, Mississippi, including aircraft for the U.S. Army and civil and commercial customers.

What you will do

  • Act as the liaison between customers, internal operations, suppliers, and hirify.global affiliates worldwide.
  • Coordinate procurement, purchase orders, forecasts, supplier lead times, and delivery of critical and AOG parts.
  • Develop customer action plans, communicate status, escalate unresolved issues, and support on-time, on-quality delivery.
  • Assess forecast, supplier capacity, rate readiness, investment data, delivery risks, and mitigation plans.
  • Facilitate service requests, quality issue resolution, goods receipt unblockers, and movement of parts through quarantine.
  • Prepare status reports and supplier assessments while tracking purchase orders and sales orders through completion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience of four years.
  • At least seven years of experience in supply chain, project management, customer service, planning, or related areas.
  • At least five years of confirmed aviation industry experience.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management, logistics, forecasting, data analysis, business insight, and customer action planning.
  • Understanding of FARs and DFARs; strong Microsoft Excel, SAP, and MRP system skills.
  • Must be able to work onsite in Columbus, Mississippi, and meet the US Person requirement under ITAR.

Nice to have

  • Advanced degree in industrial supply chain, project management, or engineering.
  • Ten years of experience in supply chain, project management, customer service, engineering, or planning.
