Design Governance Lead (AI)

What you will do

• Lead the evolution and governance of a token-driven design system across hirify.global and Lexus digital experiences.
• Direct the development and maintenance of shared CMS components, templates, and reusable UI libraries.
• Drive modular, component-based content models and integrate AI-assisted content generation and tagging into production workflows.
• Support unified digital asset management by defining taxonomy, metadata, searchability, reuse, and compliance standards.
• Automate content review, approval, and design-system module workflows using Lean Six Sigma or similar operational methods.
• Collaborate with design, engineering, marketing, content operations, product teams, and external partners to provide governance, training, documentation, and enablement.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of UX principles, design systems, and digital governance.
• Strong experience with multi-brand or multi-business-unit brand governance, DAM strategy, taxonomy, metadata, and asset governance.
• Understanding of workflow automation and content operations.
• Experience using data and user insights to guide design and content decisions.
• Ability to measure design-system adoption and report business impact, including cost savings and hours saved.
• Must already have the right to work in the United States and must not require employment-based visa or work authorization sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience in automotive, retail, or large-scale multi-brand digital environments.
• Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager and shared component libraries.
• Experience with design tokens, design-to-development handoff, accessibility standards, and governance frameworks.
• Experience supporting transformation initiatives in complex matrixed organizations.
