Manager of Facility Operations (AI Infrastructure)

Location: Remote - US; Work location: Snyder, Texas

Compensation: Up to $140,000–$194,000 annually, plus bonus and Restricted Stock Units

What you will do

• Oversee installation, inspection, repair, and preventive maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, fire/life safety, UPS, PDU, switchgear, generators, and cooling systems.
• Lead maintenance employees, vendors, and contractors while ensuring site requirements, deadlines, documentation, and escalation procedures are followed.
• Monitor BMS/DCIM tools, investigate alarms, and coordinate resolution of facility issues.
• Maintain equipment logs, manuals, SOPs, and technical documentation.
• Support infrastructure deployments, installations, and service requests for internal teams.
• Act as the escalation point for after-hours facility events and critical incidents, while training junior staff on procedures and safety.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in mission-critical environments such as data centers, hospitals, or high-availability industrial facilities.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, emergency power, electrical distribution, fire suppression, UPS systems, PDUs, transfer switches, and building automation systems.
• Experience supervising technicians or contractors in high-uptime environments.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation, blueprints, and equipment schematics.
• EPA 608 certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Willingness to be on-call and respond to facility emergencies after hours, with strong communication and documentation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with rapid data center buildouts, greenfield site launches, or hybrid cloud and on-premises compute environments.
• Familiarity with SCADA, PLC systems, DCIM, BMS, ServiceNow, MCIM, or Corrigo.
• Experience creating SOPs/EOPs and coordinating cross-functional responses to facilities incidents.
• Knowledge of environmental compliance standards for power and cooling systems.
