Optics Coater 1 - 1st Shift

Location: Irvine, CA, United States; onsite, 1st shift

Hourly pay: $17.31–$32.12 USD, plus eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus.

What you will do

• Perform coating operations on incoming parts, materials, and components.
• Document coating results and coordinate the collection and disposition of coated materials.
• Help determine coating and inspection methods, sequences, and procedures.
• Work from written procedures, drawings, sketches, and specifications.
• Perform inspection and spectroscopy measurements when required.
• Partner with engineering and cleaning teams and report to the Optics Supervisor, Manufacturing/Operations.

Requirements

• One or more years of related experience.
• Experience using inspection tools and devices such as calipers, micrometers, Keyence microscopes, height gauges, and UV/VIS equipment.
• High school diploma, vocational training, or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work onsite in Irvine, California, during the 1st shift.
• Ability to sit, stand, or type for extended periods and occasionally move or position objects weighing up to 35 pounds.
• Manual dexterity and coordination for handling objects below, at, and above shoulder level.
